How To Read A Heat Meter

Leave a message

When reading a heat meter, pay attention to the following:

Display Information: Typically, the LCD screen of a heat meter will display information such as cumulative heat consumption, instantaneous flow rate, supply water temperature, and return water temperature. Users need to refer to the instruction manual to understand the meaning of each symbol and value.

Unit Conversion: Heat consumption is generally expressed in megajoules (MJ) or kilowatt-hours (kWh), while flow rate may be expressed in cubic meters (m³). Understanding the conversion between these units will help in better monitoring heat usage.

Regular Recording: It is recommended that users record readings regularly to reconcile with bills and monitor trends in their heat consumption.
