The service life of a heat meter is generally over 6 years, depending mainly on the maintenance of the equipment and the operating environment. Maintenance and operation of a heat meter can be carried out from the following aspects:
1. Avoid completely closing the valve: Prolonged lack of hot water flow through the pipes may damage the heat meter due to low temperatures. Therefore, ensure a continuous flow of hot water in the pipes.
2. Regular inspection: The heat meter needs to be inspected regularly to ensure it meets national standards, including inspection of the heat meter itself and the correctness and stability of its installation. This helps to identify and resolve problems promptly, ensuring the normal operation of the heat meter.
3. Keep the water clean: The water in the heat exchange system should be kept clean to prevent dirt and impurities from clogging the heat meter. These impurities can be effectively filtered out by installing a filter, and the filter should be cleaned regularly to extend the service life of the heat meter.
4. Pay attention to details: The temperature sensor should be installed below the temperature measuring ball valve to ensure accurate contact with the measured medium. The filter needs to be installed horizontally to avoid water accumulation. If external damage to the heat meter is found, protective measures should be taken immediately to prevent further damage.
